Get busy living, or get busy dying.

From: The Art of Expressing the Human Body By Bruce Lee/John Little

Saw this on Image is Found‘s Facebook page this morning and had to share it with you. That last part really struck a nerve with me:

‘Seriously, if you always put limits on what you can do, physical or anything else, it’ll spread over into the rest of your life. It’ll spread into your work, into your morality, into your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. A man must constantly exceed his level.’

I’m usually my biggest critic but I’m working on becoming my biggest fan. I’m going to cheer myself on and see what that spirit creates. I’m done with limiting myself and believing what I’ve been told about impossible! How about you?

It’s funny that I’ve heard so many people talk about how social networks are just a big timesuck and waste of time… and I’ve struggled to explain why I love being part of things like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram... it’s because of this. Because amidst the photos of what we’re eating, and the comments about how cute our kids are, there are jewels like this where folks share what they’re being inspired and encouraged by and that’s just like sharing the wealth. (And I like seeing what folks are eating and how cute their kids are!)
